The thin keycaps can also susceptible to damage and breakage. The GMK keycaps are strong and durable and come with an ABS keycap construction nevertheless. WebThey shine because they are not entirely made of actual PBT but a PBT/ABS blend...just like virtually every other "doubleshot PBT" set. PBT is a material that is very difficult to mold and having it produced in doubleshot technique would mean the tooling would be extremely expensive so the keycaps would also cost a lot.
