SRV has a different default for controllers, I believe it's y+down-dpad or up-dpad., but ctrl+alt+space seems to be the universal keyboard button combo in whatever mode of transpo you're in. WebMay 20, 2024 · If you're talking about ship 3rd person, hit ctrl+alt+space, and then choose rear camera, detach the camera (I use F1), line it up behind your ship and press the button which then allows you to control the ship from 3rd person. I often fly through asteroid fields and over planets in that view. Not much good for combat as you can't select targets.

WebNote: I play both Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous. Star Citizen is probably the closest game you will get to simulation with space physics. The feel in space with Star Citizen feels real even though we don't know what realism is in space with ships in super cruize and using thrusters. Elite Dangerous just feels arcadish.
